Across seven chapters, it traces the doctrinal architecture of three thousand worlds in a single moment of life — from T'ien-t'ai's original arithmetic in the Maka Shikan, through Nichiren's identification of the seed of Buddhahood as existing nowhere outside the Lotus Sutra, the demolition of the gradual path by the revelation of the Original Buddha's beginningless life, the unity of fundamental darkness and the Dharma nature as a single entity named Myōhō, the entirety of the Buddha's causal practices and resulting virtues wrapped inside five characters and hung around the neck of the ignorant, the Gohonzon located within the practitioner's own mortal flesh, and the act of chanting as the specific mechanism by which ichinen sanzen is actualized rather than contemplated.
