About us

NMRKOB stands as a digital sanctuary. We bridge the historic lineage of Nichiren Daishonin with the modern world. This platform serves independent practitioners seeking the authentic teachings of Nichiren Daishonin. We operate beyond institutional sects. We rely solely on the Lotus Sutra to provide a direct path to enlightenment. Explore the tradition that unites global icons and daily practitioners in one shared intent.

Lineage

NMRKOB preserves the lineage of Kamakura. This city served as the historic seat of the shogunate and the site of the persecutions faced by Nichiren Daishonin. The core group consists of Kenzoku or spiritual kin who preserve the oral traditions. The lineage flows through a former venerable priest and cherished elder. His great-grandmother held a blood connection to Nitchō. As one of the six senior disciples, Nitchō received the direct mandate from Nichiren Daishonin to protect the teaching.

Independence

This platform upholds the principle of Eho Fu Ejin. We rely on the Law and do not rely upon persons. We maintain a direct connection or Chokuketsu with the Lotus Sutra. We stand apart from institutional hierarchies. This approach allows the practitioner to seek the Law directly and avoids the distortions of intermediaries.

Global Reach

Prominent figures connect with this digital sanctuary. Artists such as Boy George and Sheryl Underwood, actors including Daniel Goddard and musicians like Ferras, Color Theory, and Space March follow NMRKOB. The Hindustan Times documented the reach of this movement. They identified NMRKOB as a destination for digital chanting. The report described the practice as a method to generate positive vibrations. This validates the universal application of the teaching.

Mission

Membership supports the propagation of the Law. It grants access to the digital library. The community embodies Itai Doshin. The members are many in body yet one in mind. Nichiren Daishonin stated that the Law exists in the faith of the individual. Connection to the practice depends on the voice and determination of the practitioner.
