Kuon ganjo means time goes back forever with no first moment. You can't point to where it starts.

The Japanese term kuon ganjo (久遠元初) refers to a dimension of existence entirely outside of time, not just a very old beginning, but the total absence of any beginning at all. In Nichiren Daishonin's teachings, this concept points to the true nature of the Buddha, a life force so fundamental it precedes every measurable moment in history, including the unimaginably distant past described in the Lotus Sutra.

Nichiren taught that this same beginningless life is not separate from you, it already exists within your own life, right now.
