People search the world for sacred places. They look for divinity in distant lands or grand structures. They fail to look in the most important place. Nichiren Daishonin taught that the Treasure Tower exists within your own body. The ceremony in the air described in the Lotus Sutra happens within your life. You are the tower adorned with the seven kinds of treasures.

Your body is the palace of the ninth consciousness. It is a vessel of the eternal law. No distinctions exist between the Buddha and the common mortal who chants the Daimoku. Your life deserves the highest respect. Treat yourself with the dignity befitting a Buddha. Treat others with this same reverence.

We dignify our lives through the practice of faith. The mud of daily reality produces the pristine lotus flower. Your struggles are the materials that build the Treasure Tower. Do not despise your current reality. It is the very ground where you attain enlightenment. STAND TALL in your identity. You possess a worth that no wealth can buy.
